Wadi Litibah: This part is well marked and doesn’t require description.Begin at the farmhouse near Wadi Ghalila Dam.

2: Scree slope

Broken Boulder : Start at the stone marked with red paint (P-01). A key landmark with a large crack.Pass a huge block with a crack (P-02), a fenced tree (P-03), and reach a tree almost at the top of the scree slope.

3. The Stairs:

Stairways to Heaven: This section has multiple small stairways and a big one at the end. It’s the hardest and riskiest part with high exposure. Go with someone who has done the route. A series of stone stairways with steep climbs and high exposure.

4. Summit and Plateau: Jabal as Sayh Peak with Breathtaking Views Ahead!

Reach the most awaited summit where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and picturesque Omani local villages. Please note: To avoid any border crossing issues, kindly refrain from entering the village and stay within the UAE territory.

Next, head towards Jabal as Sayh “A plateau”, and the ‘Peak’ also known as peak of False Horizons, keeping the drop-off to your right. This ascent demands good stamina, but the panoramic views from the top make it well worth the effort.

Β 5. Traverse: This part is mainly flat and easy passing by 2 local traditional village.

6. Descend via Al Woh Village: The Right Bank Summit

After traversing, reach the right bank top and begin your descent through the traditional Al Woh Village. The Right Bank hike is a 12 km trail from the starting point to the summit at a local Emirati farmhouse. The Right Bank hike follows the same route as the Stairways to Heaven hike until it diverges at the broken fossil stone and marked stone for the Left Bank. This section is known as Wadi Litibah. Continuing upwards, the trail reaches the dry waterfall area, Alwoh Village, and finally reach at the local Emirati farm house, marking the summit of the Right Bank.

This hike shares the same route as the Left Bank hike but splits off at the marked stone. The route includes:

1. Wadi Litibah: A well-marked section that requires no additional description.

3. Pass the cement factory area and navigate through the roundabout
4. After the roundabout, take the right road with the Wadi Ghalila signboard and Al Sayl Rd
5. Continue on this Al Sayl road for 8kms, passing by Wadi Ghalilah
