Level 3 – Moderate | Red Wall Canyon Hike

Follow the scenic balcony trail and negotiate a fixed-cable-assisted section before descending toward Red Wall Canyon.
At the canyon entrance, enjoy a refreshing chai break surrounded by towering rock formations. This scenic point serves as a natural resting and turnaround location.
Hikers who are comfortable continuing may explore approximately 1 km farther toward the end of the canyon before returning along the same trail.
This route is suitable for reasonably fit hikers who are comfortable with uneven rocky ground, some scrambling and exposed mountain paths.
Level 4 – Intermediate | Red Wall & Al Sanat Village
Approximate duration: 4–5 hours
For a more challenging adventure, extend the Red Wall hike to Al Sanat Village, a traditional mountain settlement above the canyon.
Near the far end of the canyon, the trail climbs via stone steps and loose rocky terrain toward the village. After a scenic rest break, the route follows a short loop back down toward the canyon before returning along the main Red Wall trail.
This option requires good fitness, confidence on steep terrain and previous hiking experience.
